CosH Consulting is on course for growth

With the acquisition of Menze Informations- und Kommunikationssysteme GmbH, the Nuremberg-based IT specialists are expanding their product and customer portfolio and expanding their Berlin location.

Berlin, 05/12/2022. With the acquisition of the IT system house Menze Informations- und Kommunikationssysteme GmbH as of 01 April 2022, CosH Consulting GmbH is specifically pursuing its growth strategy as well as its vision of decisively shaping the digital transformation. At the same time, CosH is further expanding the Berlin site, which was newly established in June 2021. The merger with the IT company Menze GmbH offers CosH the opportunity to address the strategic challenges in the IT industry in a targeted and comprehensive manner in the German region. A full merger of the companies is planned by the end of 2022.

With the acquisition of the IT system house Menze GmbH, the CosH group of companies not only gains another eight colleagues in Berlin, but also expands its customer base by 300 new customers and an increase in sales of one and a half million euros. “We would like to continue to grow in the future,” confirms Manuel Wagner, CEO of CosH Consulting GmbH, the goal of integrating additional IT system houses into the group of companies. In the past two years, the company has increased its sales by over 200 percent and has also grown its workforce to over 60 employees.

Acquisition creates synergies for both companies

founded in 2002 by Torsten Menze, Menze GmbH has been providing a secure IT infrastructure for more than 300 companies in Berlin and the surrounding area for 20 years. Shortly before retirement, it was important for Menze to find a solution that would keep both him and his employees moving forward. As part of the CosH group of companies, he will continue to stay with his company and be able to pursue his preferences in technical solution development. “I believe that in the future there will be a strong market consolidation in the IT system house sector. With CosH Consulting GmbH, we have now found a strong and trustworthy partner that brings decisive advantages not only for me and my employees, but also for our customers.”

Christian Weninger, Business Development Manager at CosH, is also convinced of the synergies and adds: “I am sure that Menze GmbH’s customers will also benefit from CosH’s product portfolio and support concept, but above all from our Workplace as a Service concept.”

Expansion of the Berlin location

Together, Manuel Wagner and Torsten Menze want to further expand the already existing location in Berlin. “We are very happy about the new colleagues. With them, we gain new know-how and can further expand our range of services. Resource sharing is the keyword here,” explains Wagner. A full merger of the two companies is planned by the end of 2022.
