The Bamberg Social Foundation is one of the largest healthcare and social service providers in Bavaria. It is a nonprofit organization: through its medical, therapeutic, nursing, and care services, it ensures high-quality care for people in the Bamberg region. The Bamberg Social Foundation’s medical practice centers ensure local outpatient care. They provide numerous medical services in the West Upper Franconia region, covering a broad medical spectrum.
Close networking among themselves and with Bamberg Hospital ensures a high level of security and fast, competent cross-sector care from a single source. As part of the Hospital Future Act (KHZG), the IT security and internal IT infrastructure of the Bamberg Social Foundation were upgraded.
Procedure:
One of the services CosH Consulting GmbH provided for the Bamberg Social Foundation was the deployment of 150 switches at Bamberg Hospital. This project modernized the hospital’s network infrastructure and improved connectivity throughout the facility.
CosH handled the on-site installation and cabling of the equipment in close collaboration with the internal IT department.
The upgraded switches were supplemented by a shipment of 500 IGEL PCs.
